VH1 Save the Music
The VH1 Save The Music Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving elementary school children of all backgrounds and, diversities. In its capacity as a public charity, the Foundation operates in affiliation with, but separately from, VH1 the cable music channel.
The VH1 Save The Music Foundation provides a unique service in its efforts to improve the current state of education. The Foundation works directly to support only music education programs and does not provide any money to the school or school district. Instead, The Foundation provides complete band, string, keyboard, or guitar programs to benefiting schools. It is our belief that by providing instruments and not funding, our contribution will be used for its intended purpose: the restoration of public school music programs.

Cecil B. Moore Community Center
Formerly known as the Connie Mack Center, Cecil B. Moore is a community safe haven for kids in North Philadelphia. It offers a number of programs for kids 3–18.
Camden Creative Arts High School
The school is housed in the original Mickle School Annex,
which was built in 1925. The Mickle School was named after
one of the original school board members, Dr. Isaac S. Mickle.
The Creative Arts High School opened its door in September
1999, as one of the two specialized magnet high schools in
the city.
PhatBack Athletics
PhatBack
Athletics is an all boys track & field club
and mentor program that serves young men between the ages
of 13 and 18-years-old. PhatBack’s purpose is
to develop and nurture the athletic talent of these young
men while allowing them to build relationships with highly
successful men in various professions. All members are required
to attend monthly mentor sessions in which a chosen speaker
shares their life experiences. PhatBack practices three times
a week from April through July and competes mostly on weekends.
The team motto is: ”I am one of many, only opportunity
has distinguished me from many”.
In the program, critical
issues facing young men such as self-esteem, violence, drug
abuse, and sex are regularly addressed. PhatBack Athletics
is vital in the lives of its members because it allows them
an opportunity to compete in high quality athletic competitions
while exposing them to some of the nation’s finest
college campuses. In the last few years, members of the
team have competed at such sites as University of Tennessee,
Morgan State, Duke University, and Norfolk State University.
The Enterprise Center
Founded
in 1997, The Enterprise Center’s YES (Youth
+ Entrepreneurship = Success) Program is an award-winning,
globally influential program that prepares youth for success
in the business world by providing a professional and nurturing
environment to explore entrepreneurship and to start and
run businesses.
In 2003, YES became a charter member
of West Chester University’s
Educator 500, honoring excellence in entrepreneurship education.
Key sponsors of the YES Program over the years have included
AND1, City of Philadelphia, Lincoln Financial Group, Pew
Charitable Trusts, Philadelphia Foundation, Prudential Foundation,
William Penn Foundation, and the Blues Babe Foundation.

Care Solutions
FCS Child Care Scholarship provides childcare assistance
to low-income single mothers pursuing an Associates or Bachelor's
Degree, or a certificate from an approved program. Funded
by foundation and corporate contributions, the FCS Scholarship
pays childcare tuition for infants through pre-school aged
children for up to 36 weeks during the student's academic
year. The student must have earned at least a 2.5 GPA in
her previous school year or a B+ average in her last year
of high school to be eligible. FCS will assist the student
in finding quality childcare near home or school. The FCS
Child Care Scholarship is awarded to students who do not
attend CCAMPIS Consortium Schools. Currently, FCS supports
students residing in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware,
and Maryland.
Sisters’ Sanctuary
Sisters’ Sanctuary’s
mission is to inspire developing women, ages thirteen
and older, to explore the art of self-love and personal
and social awareness for unconditional self-respect,
self-acceptance and an emotionally healthy and positive lifestyle.

Sisters in Shape, Inc. Fitness Consultants (SIS) seek to
empower African-American women by promoting balance in physical,
mental and spiritual health. The primary objectives of SIS
are to educate, stimulate and motivate women to make health
and fitness a priority. Our mission is to: Stimulate by increasing
the knowledge and awareness of the benefits of leading a
healthy lifestyle. Inspire by being totally committed to
all aspects of fitness, promoting spiritual, physical and
mental health. Show optimal results through effective instruction.
SIS provides Personal Training, Nutrition Counseling, and
Exercise Program Design.
