The Blues Babe Foundation, founded by Grammy Award–winning artist and Philadelphia native Jill Scott, nurtures creativity, confidence, and opportunity for young people in Philadelphia and beyond.

For years, the Foundation has created spaces where youth can explore their talents, build community, and develop the confidence to express themselves through the arts. Programs like the Blues Babe Foundation’s camp bring young people together to learn, create, and grow in an environment that celebrates culture, creativity, and possibility. As this work continues to grow, the Foundation is expanding its efforts to support youth and families through arts-based programs, mentorship, and partnerships that open doors to creative careers and leadership opportunities.
